Always wanted to join a Yoga class and not sure how to get started? Or maybe you're a seasoned yogi looking to refresh your yoga practice? This introductory-level series is perfect for both! It is a comprehensive workshop where each of the six sessions focuses on specific portions of traditional vinyasa flow.
In each 75-minute session, you will gain confidence, learn proper alignment, and make surprising discoveries as you explore the foundations of yoga in a nurturing, safe and supportive environment.
Each session goes from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm.
Session 1 - Friday Sept 29 - will focus on Ujjayi breathing, warm up stretches, Classical Sun Salutations and Sun Salutation A.
Session 2 - Friday Oct 13 - will focus on Sun Salutation B, chair pose, Warrior 1,2 and 3
Session 3 - Friday Oct 27 - will focus on Standing and Balancing postures including Triangle, Side Angle, Tree and Half Moon
Session 4 - Friday Nov 10 - will focus on hip opening postures including lizard, yogi squat, crow, goddess and half pigeon
Session 5 - Friday Nov 24 - will focus on back, core and heart opening postures including boat, backbends and forward folds
Session 6 - Friday Dec 8 - Flow Time! Let's put it all together with a review of our prior sessions and the opportunity to dive deeper into postures of your choice.
Best of all, you will be guided by the best! Tara Cuff and Jamie Hightower are excellent instructors with a boatload of teaching experience. They love what they do and it shows! You will enjoy a relaxed, fun setting, get lots of individualized attention, and the chance to ask questions along the way.
Take one, several or ALL of them for the ultimate experience. The studio will be warm and comfortable. Please bring a mat, a towel, water.
