In this session, we adopt a loving and nurturing mindset throughout our journey.
Invoking a feeling of warmth and comfort being wrapped around you like a cozy, soft blanket of love.

Breathing for Clarity & Calm: A workshop with Lisa Dickson
Learn simple, science-based breathing patterns to reduce/eliminate anxiety, sense of overwhelm,
improve focus, digestion and sleep
We invite you to take a breather from the stresses of life in this introduction to the world of breath.
Emerge relaxed, calm, energized and clear-headed.
You will experience the power of your breath and learn the basics
as you are carefully guided into breathwork.
Breathing is a fun, easy and accessible tool that you have at your disposal
anytime anywhere.
Breathwork is a holistic approach to enhancing well-being.
The breath’s power helps to reduce our automatic stress response
while keeping us engaged and grounded in the present moment.
Simply, it can create a better quality of life where there is more space for joy and fun.
Who is this for:
This is ideal for those interested in adding a “mindfulness” practice to their lives.
This is also a great way to meditate and calm the “monkey mind”
by giving your mind something to do (i.e. breathe).
Ultimately, this is ideal for those ready to grow
and get a sense of the possibilities breathwork can open up to you.
What do you need:
mat, bolster/zafu/pillow (optional)
***It is important to note that breathwork should be practiced with caution, as it can sometimes bring up strong emotions and should not be by those with certain medical conditions (i.e. cardiovascular issues, pregnancy). It is always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new health practice.

Join us for this unique and fun workshop!
Sixty minutes of Vin Yin Outdoor Yoga, on our beautiful lakeside patio.
Then, create your very own beautiful succulent garden, to adopt and bring home where it will grow and thrive.
Feel the earth below you, rooted in each yoga pose.
Enjoy blissful yoga surrounded by nature - green grass - tall tress, birds chirping - on our outdoor patio.
Then, gather for a Succulent Garden Party, where you will have your choice of a wide array of beautiful containers, succulents, and accents, creating a garden that is unique to you.
The Succulent "Bar" offers easy-to-follow instructions to help you build, plant, design and care for your succulent garden.
There will be light fare and beverages to enjoy as well.
This will be a wonderful experience to share with a friend, or two!
It's also a great time for parents/kids (ages 12 and up).
The outdoor vin yin yoga will be a combination of level 1 vinyasa flow
and end with restorative yin yoga, perfect for creating an overall peaceful state.
The succulent garden that you will create will be a lasting symbol of personal growth
(and look lovely in a sunny spot in your home!)
