IT'S MY FIRST HOT YOGA CLASS. WHICH ONE SHOULD I TAKE? Let's Get Zen Yoga classes are designed to be accessible to all levels and abilities. Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and alternative options throughout class. If this is your first time taking a HOT YOGA class, we suggest our Level 1 Vinyasa Flow class. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY HOT YOGA CLASS? First off, hydrate! Begin the day before class by drinking plenty of water, then continue hydrating during class and after class. We recommend taking sips of water during class and arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of class to acclimate to the heat.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS? A yoga mat, water and a towel to wipe sweat are the basic "must-have" yoga needs. Blocks, props like a strap for deeper stretching and bolsters are also great, so bring those too if you so desire.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN MY FIRST HOT YOGA CLASS? Expect to move your body, have fun, destress, and sweat a little (or a lot!). Let's Get Zen Yoga is a judgement-free zone, and we encourage you to relax, focus on your time on the mat, focus on yourself and what you want out of the time here. Take your practice to your personal edge. Rest when you need to, and above all, listen to your body. Choose a seated position, or child's pose whenever it calls to you. Above all, breath deeply and enjoy!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A YOGA CLASS? Anything that you are comfortable in and allows you to move freely, like leggings and a tank top or joggers and a tee shirt. Bare feet are recommended while on your mat. If you wear socks during class, they must be grip socks to prevent slipping.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE STUDIO? The studio opens 20 minutes prior to class time. If it is your first visit to Let's Get Zen, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins. We ask all others to arrive at least 5 minutes before the class begins. As to not disrupt a class in progress, the front door will be locked at the start of each class.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS DURING CLASS? Shoes, coats and other personal belongings can be stored in the cubbies and hooks in the room to the right of our main entrance. The front door will be locked once class begins to prevent people from entering (safety lock allows for exiting but prevents late entry). We encourage extreme valuables to be left at home.
I AM RUNNING LATE! CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN CLASS? We get it, life happens! We do lock the studio doors when class begins, so please try to arrive at least 5 minutes early so you don't lose your spot!
HOW DO I KNOW IF A CLASS IS CANCELLED? Let's Get Zen Yoga makes every effort to adhere to our posted schedule. If we need to cancel a class for any reason (less than 3 people signed up, inclement weather, or any other unexpected circumstance), we will do our best to notify clients at least two hours prior to class. Please make sure your contact info is updated on the MindBody App or site.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? You can cancel your class booking two or more hours prior to the class without penalty and the class will be credited back to your account. Cancelling your booking less than two hours prior to class time and no shows will result in the loss of the class.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO PRE-BOOK MY CLASSES? Please book your classes early and often. We encourage pre-booking so your space is reserved. We check our class list two hours before each class and reserve the right to cancel the class if the attendance falls below a certain level. Pre-booking helps us to know who to expect and prepares the instructor accordingly. If a class is canceled by the studio, your booking will go back onto your account and you will not lose the class.
HOW MANY CLASSES PER WEEK SHOULD I TAKE TO SEE RESULTS? We suggest 3-5 classes per week to see optimal results. Consistency is key!
WHEN DO MY CLASSES EXPIRE? 6 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
CAN I TRANSFER MY CLASSES TO A FRIEND? Classes can only be used by the person who purchased them. Thank you for understanding our policy!
WHAT ADDED PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING BECAUSE OF COVID-19? LGZYoga is committed to the health, wellness & safety of our students and our staff. We are taking precautions in our studios to ensure all areas are properly sanitized and that county guidelines are being followed. We use antibacterial cleaning products and run an air purifier in between each class to help eliminate viruses, bacteria and allergens from the air. We will be limiting class sizes to allow sufficient space between practitioners. Although masks are not required, before leaving for class ask yourself these questions: Do I have a fever? Do I have a dry cough? Do I have a sore throat? Do I have a runny nose? Have I lost the sense of smell or taste? Do I live with anyone who is sick or quarantined? If yes to any of the above, cancel your registration for a class or event and consult your physician.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF INFRARED HEATING PANELS? The infrared heating panels in our Horsham studio heat objects rather than heating the air. This results in a comforting warmth, much like the sun! The heat helps relax your muscles, provides pain relief, a level of detoxification and helps you melt deeper into your poses without the spread of allergens and dust associated with forced-air heat.
