Big and Little Yogis - ages 3-8 with a participating adult
As adults, we know the value of yoga - increased strength and flexibility, enhanced self-awareness, and stillness and clarity of mind. Teaching yoga to children allows them to develop these same positive relationships with their bodies and minds and develop coping skills that will serve them through life. In addition, yoga can help children learn to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, increase attention span by actively following directions, while having fun!
In this class, the children and their favorite adult will experience 45 minutes of fun and inspirational interaction that will encourage the child’s natural thirst for knowledge. Class is personalized around children's curiosities as they learn yoga through social interaction, repetition, and play. We will combine simple kid-friendly yoga poses and breathwork with stories, games, and visualizations that exercise social, sensory, and motor skills while increasing flexibility.
Children and adults should come dressed, ready to move. No yoga experience is required. Parents/Guardians with more than three children - please email us for registration and pricing.

TWEEN / TEEN Yoga - ages 9 - 15
We transition from children's yoga to Vinyasa flow in classes geared toward young adults. Here students will explore many aspects of yoga - breathwork, meditation, and a little yoga theory - while learning to flow and connect breath with movement using more traditional yoga poses.
The sooner we can introduce our children to yoga, the sooner they can begin to reap the rewards of the practice - increased strength and flexibility, enhanced self-awareness, and stillness and clarity of mind. Learning yoga as young adults allows them to develop positive relationships with their bodies and minds and learn coping skills to serve them through life. In addition, yoga can help them to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, increase attention span, and have fun!
Classes are for the young adults only, without their parent or guardian. The class is personalized around young adults’ curiosity to learn yoga. They will also benefit from social interaction with their peers with age-appropriate yoga games and activities. Each class is 1 hour. Students should come dressed ready to move. No yoga experience is required. This class will not be heated.

MEET THE TEACHER - MARIA EBLE
Maria was first introduced to yoga in her early 20s and fell in love with the physical aspects of the practice. Years later, as a full-time Mom, she rediscovered yoga and quickly discovered a sense of peace and calm she had previously thought unattainable. This mind-body and spiritual connection led her to pursue her 200-hour teacher training led by Lisa Mitchell and Rachel Hoppenstein. She graduated from Dana Hot Yoga’s teacher training in June 2015.
Maria’s desire to find a way to bring all the amazing things yoga had given her to her three boys was the catalyst for her completing Teaching Yoga to Kids in 2016 with Vera Ginsbergs. In her kids yoga classes, students can expect a fun, fast-paced class based in games, stories, and visualizations to introduce them to yoga’s movement, breath, and meditation. As the mother of three boys, including twins, Maria is used to keeping things fun and engaging for her audience and staying on her toes .
Maria has all her Pennsylvania State Criminal and Child Abuse clearances.
